This record could be the first record of Echium cantabricum from Cantabria province, because it was collected in Cantabrian slope ["vertiente cantábrica"].

Stem 70 cm; basal leaves 27-30 x 4,7-5,1 cm, lanceolate; inflorescence 47 x 8,5 cm, dense and spike-like; calyx 5-7 mm; corolla 9,5-11,5 mm, corolla-tube 5-5,5 x 2-3 mm; stamens 8,5-11,5 mm, long-exserted, light pink and glabrous; style 18-19 mm, pilose; stigma bifid.
